Oklin-Jolin Broadcasting

My name is Chad Oklin-Jolin and I am a sports broadcaster born in Santa Cruz, California and based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have provided play by play radio coverage for numerous collegiate sports such as: hockey, basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and volleyball.

Currently, I am serving as the Program Director for 90.5 KSJS FM. I finised my master’s degree in mass communication in May of 2020, and spent the pandemic refining my skills with the San Jose Barracuda and San Jose State. I have worked in radio for eight years, starting as a high school intern at KSCO 1080 in 2012 and culminating with my two year term as Program Director at KSJS.

I have broadcasted San Jose State Athletics since Winter 2014, focusing mainly on hockey, baseball, and football. I worked as the Director of Media Relations for the Charlotte Crushers baseball team in the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate league in the Summer of 2016, and have worked for the last three seasons as the Game Night Media Relations Assistant for the San Jose Barracuda. Over my years in the business I have learned a tremendous amount about leadership, being a part of a team, and doing what is needed to better the team as a whole.
